Conservatism (1968-1991)
Along with the Cold War/Post War the age of Conservatism had very little action with farming as it was mainly focused on other domestic matters with big businesses while farming was becoming a smaller and smaller part of American life then ever before, showing the fall of farming from the late 1940's onward. In the age of Conservatism in the United States, with proponents of big business everywhere, farming continued to decline influentially in every arena. As more and more farming was consolidated into less and less people and without the purchase of any surplus crops the farming business has continued to gradually decline until today, where there is very little farming anywhere to be found, and the influence of farmers at the same level.
